Eatable Material Exploration & Experience Design “GOHAR”
Signifies the precious role of corn in food and culture, as a valuable nature resource, deeply connected to human life and tradition. inspired by its scared role, Gohar reimagines corn-based tortillas as wearable objects design for social gatherings.
This food design project draws inspiration from the Maya sacred text, which describes humans as being made from corn dough. Rooted in this philosophy, the concept explores the intimate relationship between food and the body, encouraging a tactile interaction with food through touch and connection before consumption. This approach redefines the sensory experience of eating, fostering a deeper bond with the origins and essence of food.
